Shop locally and save your receipts!  For every $500 spent at a minimum of 5 SHOP Lakeview participating merchants within any 90-day period*, you receive $50 back. 

Whether dinners on Lincoln or a haircut on Southport, computer repairs on Ashland or a massage on Belmont, your receipts will add up before you know it! 

Mail or deliver your receipts to the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce to receive your $50 in SHOP Lakeview dollars!

Shop Lakeview FAQ

 What is an SSA?

SSAs (Special Service Areas) are mechanisms for funding expanded services and programs through a localized property tax levy. These enhanced services and programs are in addition to services and programs provided by the city.

There are currently more than 40 SSAs throughout Chicago. 
 
Other initiatives funded by SSA #27 include sidewalk cleaning, public way aesthetic enhancements and a façade improvement rebate program.

Who pays for the SHOP Lakeview program?

SHOP Lakeview is funded solely by SSA #27.  Taxes generated from property within the SSA boundaries fund this and many other programs.
 
For the 4th year, the SSA Commissioners (the governing body of the funding) have budgeted to fund the SHOP Lakeview shopping rebate program.

What if I can't make it to the Chamber office to turn in my receipts?

Not a problem!  You can either fax copies of your receipts to 773-472-0198, or mail your receipts to the Chamber office (1609 W. Belmont, Chicago, IL. 60657).  The Chamber staff will then mail your certificates to you.

 What are the Chamber of Commerce's holiday hours?

The Lakeview Chamber of Commerce will be closed on December 24, 25, 31 and January 1. 

The hours for December 28, 29 and 30 will be 10am-4pm.

When is the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce open? 

The Lakeview Chamber of Commerce's regular business hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
